Candidates who have taken an admission in the round-1 of counselling and have exercised their option to freeze or float seats are not required to repeat the choice filling process again. Candidates who chose to 'freeze' their seats will retain their round-1 seat allotments while those who have chosen the 'float' options will be considered for upgrade or retain their seats based on their rank and availability of seat as per choice.
The OJEE offical notice said "Unallotted candidates of 1st round and candidates who were allotted seats in first round but not reported for admission, have to fill and lock fresh sets of choices within due date and time."
The notice also stated that the choices filled by such candidates in round-1 will be deemed null and void otherwise. Therefore, unless the candidates completes the choice filling and locking process in round-2, the system will by default assume that the candidate will not continue the counselling process and will be kicked out of the process.
