NEW DELHI: The ministry of education will soon announce the date for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC 2025) interactive session. Currently, more than 3.50 crore students have registered for the upcoming event.
The annual PPC session, led by Prime Minister Modi, also received registrations from teachers and parents across the country and abroad amounting to over 20.71 lakh and more than 55.1 lakh, respectively, as per the data given on the official website.
PPC event is conducted once a year wherein PM Modi interacts with the students before the board exams to relieve stress. The registration window for PPC 2025 was open from December 14 to January 14, 2025.
MoE conducts an online Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) competition for students from Class 6 to 12 where teachers and parents can also participate to select participants for PPC 2025.
“The initiative's focus on addressing exam stress and encouraging students to view examinations as a festival – "Utsav" – has struck a chord with people from all walks of life. The overwhelming participation in PPC reflects a growing awareness and acceptance of the importance of mental well-being and holistic education. The program's interactive format, which involves open dialogue between students, teachers, and the Prime Minister, has further contributed to its success,” the ministry of education said.
