Join Careers360 PremiumNEW DELHI: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) has issued the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) 2024 exam city intimation slip for exam scheduled on November 25. Candidates appearing for the competitive exam can download the RRB ALP 2024 exam city intimation slip by visiting the respective RRB official website of their region.
Candidates are required to use their user ID and password to download the RRB ALP 2025 city intimation slip. As per the official notice, the RRB ALP 2024 city intimation slip for the exam scheduled to be conducted on November 26, 27, 28 and 29, 2024 will be out on November 17, 18, and 19, 2024 respectively.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The RRB ALP 2024 selection includes CBT 1, second stage CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), document verification and medical test. The RRB ALP admit card 2024 will be issued 4 days before the exam. Candidates are required to carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license along with RRB ALP admit card 2024 on the exam day.
RRB ALP 2024 Recruitment: Total vacancies
The initial RRB ALP 2024 recruitment notification advertised 5,696 vacancies. This number was later revised to 18,799 due to "additional demand received from Zonal Railways." The RRB ALP 2024 CBT 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29.

RRB ALP 2024 exam pattern
The RRB ALP 2024 exam will be conducted online. The RRB ALP 2024 exam will carry a total of 75 marks. The duration of RRB ALP 2024 is 1 hour. The CBT 1 is held only to screen candidates for the second stage. The RRB ALP 2024 CBT 1 comprises of 4 sections- mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning, general science, gk and current affairs. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and one-third of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
