NEW DELHI: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will declare the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) 2024 result soon. The RRB ALP result 2024 date is yet to be announced by the officials. However, as per past trends, the RRB ALP result is expected this week. Candidates who appeared for the competitive exam will be able to download the RRB ALP 2024 result by visiting the respective RRB official website of their region.
The RRB ALP 2024 exam was conducted on November 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29. The RRB ALP 2024 exam was conducted online. The RRB ALP 2024 exam carried a total of 75 marks. The duration of RRB ALP 2024 was 1 hour. The CBT 1 is held only to screen candidates for the second stage. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and one-third of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The initial RRB ALP 2024 recruitment notification advertised 5,696 vacancies. This number was later revised to 18,799 due to "additional demand received from Zonal Railways."

RRB ALP Result 2024: Tie-breaking criteria
As per the RRB guidelines, if two or more candidates achieve the same marks, their merit will be determined based on age. This tie-breaking method is applied during the document verification (DV) stage, with the older candidate being ranked higher in the merit list.
