S Vaitheeswaran appointed chairperson of Manipal University Jaipur

Manipal University Jaipur: Vaitheeswaran is the current vice-chairman and managing director of Manipal Education and Medical Group.
NEW DELHI: S Vaitheeswaran has been appointed as the new chairperson of Manipal University, Jaipur. He is also the current vice-chairman and managing director of Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG). Vaitheeswaran succeeded K Ramnarayan, who served as the chairperson until now.
“Manipal University Jaipur has achieved golden success in its first decade. The university will now work towards embracing digital technology to cater to both campus and online students and ensure high-Quality content. It will be our endeavour to strengthen the industry and academia interface,” said Vaitheeswaran. According to a statement from Manipal University, Vaitheeswaran has more than 40 years of experience at the leadership level in the corporate, education, health, and health insurance-related sectors in India.

Manipal University Jaipur president GK Prabhu, said that the Manipal University has excelled in education, sports, and placements. He further said that the university will set many records under the Vaitheeswaran's guidance. He also mentioned that Manipal University is celebrating its decennial year.
MET 2022 registration will be closed by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) today. Candidates can register for MET 2022 on the website - manipal.edu. The exam will be held from June 9 to 11.
