Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2022: Guidelines for nursery, KG, Class 1 admissions
The online application process for Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2022 will begin on April 11 and will conclude on April 25, 2022.

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Education, Delhi has issued guidelines for Government Sarvodaya Vidyalaya admission to entry-level classes - nursery, KG, Class 1 - for the academic session 2022-23. The online application process for Sarvodya Vidyalaya Admission 2022 will begin on April 11 and will conclude on April 25, 2022.
“The application form for Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2022 will be available with the security guard at the entrance of the school so that parents don’t have to wait to obtain form,” the official statement said.

Children residing in the national capital are eligible for taking admission in Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. Each Sarvodaya Vidyalaya has one section of the nursery, KG, Class 1 will consist of 40 students each.
Those residing in the vicinity of the school will be given priority in admissions. Those who want to apply to the school but are residing beyond 3km will have to submit an undertaking regarding the safe transportation of the child.
Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2022: Age criteria
The application forms of only those children will be considered for admission to
- Nursery Class, who have completed 3 years of age as on March 31, 2022.
- Class KG, who have completed 4 years of age as on March 31, 2022.
- Class 1, who have completed years of age as on March 31, 2022.

Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2022: Reservation criteria
Reservation of seats for Sarvodaya Vidyalaya admission 2022 will be as follows
- 15% seats will be reserved for Scheduled Caste
- 7.5% seats will be reserved for Scheduled Tribe
- 3% seats will be reserved for Divyangjan
- 2% seats for the ward for the employees of the Directorate of Education
