SBI Clerk 2021: Key points to remember before registration

NEW DELHI: The State Bank of India (SBI) released the Clerk 2021 notification on April 26, 2021. The SBI Clerk registrations 2021 started from April 27 in online mode from the official website - sbi.co.in. The last date to apply for SBI Clerk is May 17, 2021. Being one of the most popular banking exams in India, SBI Clerk attracts a huge number of applicants. In the pursuit to successfully register for SBI Clerk, there are few things that need to be taken care of, so there are no errors and rejections in the later stage.

Key points to remember before applying for SBI Clerk

  • Candidates between the age group of 20 to 28 years can apply for SBI Clerk.

  • Candidate with a graduation degree can apply for the post.

  • The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet/ certificate or provisional certificate issued by the University.

  • In case the result of the eligibility exam for a candidate is pending, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute/ College indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

  • Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after completing the service not less than 15 years in the Indian defence forces are also eligible for the post. The certificates should be dated on or before August 16, 2021.

Candidates belonging to the reserved categories will get the upper age relaxation as mentioned in the following table -

To successfully register for SBI Clerk, candidates will also have to pay the required application fee (non-refundable). The application is mentioned in the following table.
