NEW DELHI : Aspirants of the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam (SSC CGL) 2023 have alleged discrepancies in tier 2 final answer key and are demanding rectification of errors.
Candidates alleged that errors made by SSC in the answer key have put careers of many students at stake. The commission released the SSC CGL tier 2 final answer key 2023 on December 16 on its official website, ssc.nic.in.
SSC CGL tier 2 result was declared on December 6. The commission issued the final answer key based on which the results were prepared.
Many candidates alleged error in a question regarding personal income among others. An aspirant also missed tier 2 as a result of the discrepancy, he said. Educators, teachers, and aspirants took the issue to the social media and demanded re-examination of the SSC CGL 2023 answer key.
A teacher said in a post, “The final answer key that has been released for SSC CGL 2023 has discrepancies and it’s impacting many deserving aspirants. SSC must clarify the wrong answers being chosen as correct for some of the questions. Many aspirants could not make it to the final list due to this error.”
An educator posted, “SSC CGL 2023-> 4 Dec -> Final Result 6 Dec -> Revised Final Result 15 Dec-> Final answer key using which result was prepared. SSC has changed answers to many questions which seems unjustified. SSC should re-examine the final answer key.”
A female candidate wrote, “An aspirant prepares for an exam with all his focus, hardwork and determination and if at the end few wrong questions decides his fate then how is this fair? It's pure injustice to all the aspirants. Authorities must look into the matter.”
“Because of unfair result by ssc i missed Tier-2 by 1 marks. Ssc usually took 10x students but for no reason it reduced the selected candidates to 8x. Many careers are destroyed by this move,” said a male candidate.
An X user posted, “If we accept this injustice today, SSC might establish a precedent for making mistakes a new rule tomorrow. Stand against unfairness and demand rectification in CGL 2023 final answer key!”
