SSC MTS, Havaldar 2025 registration ends today for 1,075 posts; form correction from July 29

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration process for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) recruitment exam 2025 today, July 24. Eligible candidates can apply for the SSC MTS 2025 recruitment exam through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

To apply for the SSC MTS 2025 exam, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, women candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) who are eligible for reservation are exempt from paying the fee. The last date to pay the SSC MTS application fee is July 25.

The commission will open the application correction window for SSC MTS and Havaldar 2025 from July 29 to July 31. The SSC MTS 2025 paper 1 exam is scheduled to be held from September 20 to October 24, 2025.

Candidates will be selected based on a two-stage process that includes a Paper 1 for all posts, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for those applying to the post of Havaldar. The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,075 vacancies for various posts, including Havaldar, peon, daftary, and other non-technical positions.

SSC MTS Recruitment 2025: No scribe, extra time without original proof

In line with its revised guidelines , SSC has warned candidates that any mismatch between the admit card and original photo ID may result in being barred from entering the exam hall. The details on both documents should match. Candidates should also ensure that the admit card remains undamaged, especially the barcode area, and should be signed by the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.

The commission has also clarified that PwD and PwBD candidates seeking compensatory time or a scribe should carry original disability certificates to the exam centre. Without the required documents, they will not be allowed to avail these facilities. SSC has made this rule applicable to all its exams, starting with the Selection Post Phase 13 exam .
