SSC: Selection post exam 2021 has been postponed only for those with exam centres in UP, UK, Punjab
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC) has postponed the selection post examinations (phase 9) 2021 which was scheduled for February 2 to 10, 2022, for those candidates who have been allotted examination centres in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. All three states will have state assembly elections over February and March.
The SSC examination will be rescheduled for the affected candidates. “The rescheduled SSC selection post exam date for the affected students will be announced in due course of time,” said a notice from the SSC.

“The SSC selection post exam 2021 (phase 9) will be conducted as per schedule in all other states,” it said. The exams will be conducted from February 2 to 10.
The SSC conducts selection posts exams for different government posts including junior engineer, physiotherapist, scientific assistant, analyst and botanical assistant.
Similarly, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Combined State Engineering Services exam for the post of Assistant Engineer was also postponed. The UPPSC AE exam 2022 was scheduled to be conducted on January 27, 2022. The exam will now be conducted on April 17, 2022.
Recently, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) postponed the mains examination for the post of assistant curator, assistant conservator etc. scheduled to be held on January 17. The revised date will be informed later through the OSSC official website, www.ossc.gov.in . OPSC Odisha also postponed the interview for the professor, associate professor and assistant professor posts in Home Science, which was scheduled to be conducted from January 17 to 21.
