Telangana Job Mela 2026: Govt to organise recruitment drive for IPE-qualified students, freshers from July 6

Job Mela 2026: Candidates attending the job mela will be offered on-the-spot interviews and career guidance.
The Department of Intermediate Education, Telangana and the Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDE) will jointly conduct an Apprenticeship-cum-Job Mela 2026 for Intermediate Public Examination (IPE)-passed vocational students, freshers, from July 6 to July 14 at five junior colleges across the state.
The job mela will be held under the Skill India Mission and the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS-2) with the theme “Your Skills, Your Future, Our Mission”. The programme aims to connect vocational students and freshers with industries offering apprenticeship opportunities and direct job placements.
According to the official press release, candidates attending the mela will get opportunities for on-the-spot interviews, career guidance and recruitment for multiple job roles in paramedical and non-paramedical sectors.

Selected candidates undergoing apprenticeship training will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9,600 under the Apprenticeship Act, 1992.
As per the press release, vocational students from the 2023-2026 batches, freshers, and job seekers who passed the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) in March or the IPASE June 2026 examinations, as well as candidates from the previous three academic years, are eligible for this mela.
However, candidates must note that the mela is only for those who have not undergone or have not completed apprenticeship training earlier; they will be eligible to participate in the drive.
Telangana Apprenticeship-cum-Job Mela 2026 schedule
The district-wise schedule for the Apprenticeship-cum-Job Mela is as follows:
- July 6: SKPM Government Vocational Junior College, Quthbullapur, Medchal-Malkajgiri
- July 7: Kasturba Gandhi Junior College, Maredpally, Secunderabad
- July 13: Government Vocational Junior College, Hanamkonda
- July 14: Government Vocational Junior Colleges in Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda
The interviews for paramedical stream candidates will be held in the forenoon session, while non-paramedical streams will be conducted in the afternoon.
The programme is being organised under the guidance of Telangana Chief Minister and Education Minister A Revanth Reddy, Director and Secretary of Intermediate Education Abhilasha Abhinav, IAS, and RDSDE Regional Director Ch Ravi.
Highlighting the importance of the initiative, Abhilasha Abhinav said the mela has been designed to bridge the gap between vocational education and industry requirements.

“The Apprenticeship-cum-Job Mela 2026 is a focused initiative to bridge our vocational students with industry. It brings leading companies, diverse job roles, and apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, to one platform,” she said.
Further, she added, “Beyond placements, we are ensuring career counselling, skill development guidance, and on-the-spot shortlisting so that our youth can step directly into meaningful careers. I urge all eligible students to make full use of this opportunity.”
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can attend the mela with two copies of their resume, educational certificates and Aadhaar card.
