Importance of ICAR BLP and AMS for Higher Education in Agriculture
- The ICAR's education will become more widely known around the world in the coming years as PG students will have the choice of studying courses via the ICAR's Blended Learning Platform (BLP) rather than from MOOC, SWAYAM, or NPTEL.
- The enrollment of students in courses across the State was facilitated by this ICAR-supported BLP.
- Agricultural and Central Universities will be established, and the ICAR's goal of replacing 10 per cent of the course offerings with online courses may come to pass.
- The four undergraduate courses that TNAU successfully provided using the blended learning system across its 14 component institutions was a first for the ICAR system.
