UGC NET 2023: The UGC NET December 2023 exams will be conducted from December 6 to December 22, 2023.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency, NTA has announced the exam dates for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. The UGC NET 2023 dates have been announced for December session exams. As per the schedule, the UGC NET December 2023 exams will be conducted from December 6 to December 22, 2023.
The NTA took to Twitter to announce exam dates. The post reads,"Announcement UGC-NET December 2023 cycle will be conducted from 6th December to 22 December 2023."

The agency will release the detailed notification regarding the UGC NET December session exam soon. It will include details application process, exam dates, eligibility criteria, UGG NET exam pattern and syllabus, UGC NET qualifying marks and cut-off criteria etc.
UGC NET exam is conducted twice every year (June and December). The UGC NET 2024 June session is scheduled to be held between June 10 to 21. The UGC NET exam 2024 is held to grant eligibility certificate for assistant professor as well as Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
The eligibility certificate is awarded to candidates based on the aggregate performance in UGC NET paper 1 and paper 2. The exam is held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for 83 subjects. The last session was held in two phases panning over 9 days in 18 shifts in 181 cities across the country. Over 6 lakh candidates appeared in last year’s UGC NET exam.
