UP Board Exams 2022-23 to be held in March; practicals from February 16

The pre-board practical exams for Classes 10, 12 will be conducted in the third week of January while the written exams will be held from February 1 to 15, 2023.
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Government has issued the UP Board academic calendar for the 2022-23 session. According to the academic calendar, UP Board exams 2022-23 for Classes 10,12 will be held in the month of March and practical exams will be conducted from February 16 to 28, 2023.
The pre-board practical exams for Classes 10, 12 will be conducted in the third week of January 2023 while the written exams will be held from February 1 to 15, 2023. The marks of students in pre-board exams will be uploaded on the website between February 16 to 18, 2023, as per the academic calendar.

The teaching work will begin for all classes from April 25, 2022 and the last date to complete teaching will be January 15, 2023, the academic calendar notified.
As per the new UP Board academic calendar, the half-yearly practical exams will be held in the last week of September and half yearly written exams will be held in the second and third week of October.
A total of 5 monthly tests will be conducted for Class 9 and 10 students from this year, as per the new exam pattern announced by the board.

While issuing the general guidelines, the government asked schools to organise summer camp classes for students one week after the closure of schools or one week prior to the opening of schools. The classes can be held in the subjects of interest of students such as dance, singing, stitching etc.
The government asked schools to organize a yoga competition on the occasion of World Yoga Day on June 21 and similar events on other occasions. It asked schools to conduct career counselling week for Class 12 students in the month of December under the guidance of experts.
