The monthly examination system will help evaluate the students throughout the whole year, says the board. The marks of these monthly exams will be shared with the board every month, according to the Times Now News report.
The UP Board will conduct internal assessments for Classes 9 and 10 in the last week of August, October and January. It would be an objective-type exam including multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

The first quarterly examination will be conducted in the third and fourth week of September, and the half-yearly examination will be conducted in the second and third week of December.
