NEW DELHI: The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) will conduct the UPSC CSE Mains exam 2023 from today, September 15, 2023. The UPSC IAS mains exam is scheduled to be held for 5 days September 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24. Candidates can download the UPSC IAS mains admit card 2023 at upsc.gov.in.
UPSC conducts the IAS mains exam 2023 in two sessions. The forenoon session of UPSC Main exam 2023 will begin from 9 AM to 12 noon and the afternoon session will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM. Candidates appearing for the CSE mains exam should know the guidelines to be followed on exam day. The commission has provided detailed UPSC exam day guidelines in the IAS mains admit that candidates should follow at exam centre.
UPSC IAS Mains exam day guidelines
- Candidates should bring the UPSC IAS mains admit card 2023 along with the photo identity card in original for verification purposes.
- Enter into the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- Don't bring banned items to exam centre like mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, etc.
- Candidates are advised to ensure that the blank spaces/pages are clearly crossed before handing over the QCA booklets to the invigilator.
- Candidates are required to use the specific space in the answer copy for rough work. Copy of the admit card or any other space/sheet etc. should not be used for rough work.
- Mention your name, roll number, registration ID and name & year of the examination in all the correspondence with the commission.
- Follow Covid guidelines at the exam centre.
