UPSC provides toll free helpline number for candidates of reserved category

The Union Public Service Commission has activated a helpline toll free number for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD category candidates. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can call up at the toll free number and seek assistance with regard to any UPSC exam for which they have applied.

Download EBookNEW DELHI - The Union Public Service Commission has issued a notice in which it has said that they have activated a helpline toll free number 1800118711 for candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The primary aim of this number is to provide all kinds of assistance to reserved category candidates who have applied for various UPSC exams or will do so in the near future.

The move to provide this number comes at a time when the country is celebrating the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence.
Check kind of help provided at the toll free number
The UPSC helpline number will be operational on all working days (during the office hours). Also candidates who are from SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD category, can call up at this number and seek help if they are facing any problem while filling the application form for any of the UPSC entrance or recruitment exams. Also if such candidates have already filled the form, then also they can call up at this number and get their queries answered.
UPSC Exams
Some of the popular entrance exams which the Union Public Service Commission conducts include the UPSC civil services exam , UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam, UPSC NDA NA exam. The other exams which are also conducted by the UPSC are Indian Forest Services entrance exam, UPSC CAPF exam.
There are various stages of the selection process for different posts for which the UPSC conducts the entrance tests. Most of the exams that are conducted by the UPSC comprise three stages of the selection process. The first stage is the preliminary exam, the second is the mains and the last is the interview.
