UPTAC 2025 round 3 allotment results out; confirm BTech seats by today

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) counselling 2025 round 3 allotment results. Candidates can download the UPTAC allotment results 2025 on the official website, uptac.admissions.nic.in, and confirm their seats today.

The UPTAC counselling 2025 seat acceptance fee for the general and OBC categories is Rs 20,000, and for the SC and ST categories is Rs 12,000. Candidates will have to either confirm their seat allotment and report to the allotted college or choose, ‘freeze, float or withdrawal option for BTech admissions.

As per the UPTAC counselling 2025 schedule, round 4 seat allotment results will be announced on August 13. College reporting will begin on August 18 to 21. In case candidates do not report to the allotted college, their seats will be deemed as cancelled, and no refund will be provided.

UPTAC Counselling 2025: What after seat allotment?

Candidates who have been allotted seats after UPTAC counselling 2025 will have to submit online their willingness to ‘accept and freeze or ‘accept or float’ to stay in the counselling process.

Freeze Option: A candidate who chooses the ‘freeze’ option accepts the seat allotted and does not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allotment.

Float Option: By choosing the ‘float’ option, the candidate can keep their allocated seat but remains eligible for further rounds of counselling. If upgrades happen in subsequent rounds, the previous seat will be replaced with a new one. However, you cannot move to the previous allotted seat in this case.

Withdrawal: By choosing the ‘’withdrawal’ option, a candidate can cancel their participation in the counselling process.
