UPTET 2025 exam will be conducted on January 29-30, 2026

The Uttar Pradesh PGT exam will be held in October 2025, and the UP TGT exam will be held in December 2025.
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2025 will be conducted on January 29 and 30, 2026, according to a notice by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC). The UP exam for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) will be conducted on December 18 and 19, 2025, while the exam for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) will be held on October 15 and 16.
The UPTET 2025 examination includes two papers - paper 1, for teaching eligibility for Classes 1-5, and paper 2, for teaching eligibility for Classes 6-8. The UP TGT exam is for the recruitment of teachers for Classes 6-10. Those who clear the UP PGT exam will be eligible to teach Classes 11 and 12.
UPTET 2025 notification will be released on the official website, updeled.gov.in, along with the application form. The complete schedule for the UPTET examination and subsequent recruitment will be intimated soon.

UPTET 2025: Results
Following the conduct of the UPTET 2025 examination, the board will release a preliminary answer key. Candidates will be able to send objections or grievances in relation to the answer key. All objections should be supported with sufficient evidence for the claims. The authority will release a final answer key after taking into account all objections received.

The UPTET 2025 exams will include the following subjects:
- Child development and pedagogy
- Language 1
- Language 2
- Mathematics
Paper 1 candidates will have a compulsory subject of environmental studies (EVS). Candidates appearing for paper 2 can choose between mathematics and science, or social studies.
