NEW DELHI: Vellore Institute of Technology has begun the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE 2023) counselling process. The VITEEE results 2023 were also announced today for BTech admissions. Candidates who appeared in the VIT entrance exam can apply for VIT counselling based on the rank secured.

Aspirants who wish to get admission in VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Andhra Pradesh will have to participate in the VITEEE 2023 counselling and complete the process before the deadline by paying the required fees. The VITEEE choice filling can be done through the official website, vit.ac.in.
“Admission is only through online counselling. We do not have agents/brokers/counsellors. Beware of fake websites and SMS,” the VIT official website read.
VITEEE 2023 counselling process
Candidates can check the detailed step by step process to fill choices as per ranks secured.
- Visit the VIT official website, vit.ac.in.
- Login with your application number and password generated during VITEEE registration.
- Know your results - Rank [available after login into the portal].
- Read all the given instructions for counselling and click “Proceed”.
- Give your choices of preferred campus, core programme, fee category, specialisation/minor (if any) in the order of preference.
- Edit or Re-order your choices before the deadline.
- View your final registered choices under the "Registered Choices" menu.
Applicants must note that the VITEEE seat allotment will be based on rank and preferred choice. Therefore, candidates are advised to provide as many choices as possible.

Those aspirants who secured up to 1 lakh rank are eligible to participate in the counselling for admission to BTech programmes in VIT Vellore and Chennai. And, those who secured more than 1 lakh rank are eligible for admission to VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal.
