WBJEE Counselling 2025: Candidates will be able to access the West Bengal JEE round 2 seat allotment results using login details such as roll number and password.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will declare the WBJEE 2025 round 2 seat allotment result on September 9. Candidates seeking admission to engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy programmes through the WBJEE 2025 counselling will be able to check the seat allotment list at wbjeeb.nic.in.
The WBJEEB’s official website will require login credentials such as candidates’ WBJEE roll number and password to access the WBJEE 2025 round 2 seat allotment results.
Those who will be allotted courses along with colleges will have to complete their document verification and admission process between September 9 and 11.
WBJEE counselling is being held for candidates who qualified the WB Joint Entrance Examination and looking forward to pursuing undergraduate (UG) courses in BTech, BArch and BPharma courses at universities, government colleges and self-financed institutes in West Bengal.
Recently the Kolkata High Court ordered the WBJEEB to follow the old OBC reservation policy and publish a fresh merit list.
WBJEE Round 2 seat allotment rules
The WBJEE round 2 is the final round for admission to BTech and other courses and there is no score for further upgradation, according to the WBJEEB’s official notification.
“It is essential to note that if the seat is upgraded, the earlier allotment will be cancelled, and the seat will then be allotted to other deserving candidates as per merit,” the notice reads.
Those who applied for upgradation in the WBJEE round 1, must note that they cannot reverse the upgrade or cannot claim round 1 allotment in round 2.
Notably, if the seat is not upgraded, the round 1 seat would remain reserved or retained for the candidate. However, if the seat is upgraded in round 2, then candidates need not be required to pay the seat acceptance fee again.
