Try NowThe West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the counselling schedule for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Technology and Architecture programmes. Online counselling process for courses offered by government, government-aided and self-financed (private) institutions across the state begins today will continue in multiple rounds.

Candidates who have qualified in the WBJEE 2026 can register online, pay the counselling registration fee and fill their preferred choices of colleges and courses by July 5. The first round seat allotment result will be announced on July 7 and candidates allotted seats must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission between July 7 and July 11 if they do not opt for upgradation or are allotted their first preference.
The e-counselling process will facilitate seat allotment to colleges, institutions, and courses based on candidates' merit ranks and the choices they submit. By registering for e-counselling, candidates agree to abide by all the rules, regulations, and guidelines prescribed by the Board.

Steps to register for WBJEE Counselling 2026
The counselling registration fee is Rs 500 and is non-refundable.
- Visit the official WBJEEB counselling portal
- On homepage, click on the WBJEE Counselling 2026 registration link
- Log in using your WBJEE application credentials
- Complete the registration process and pay the counselling registration fee
- Fill in your preferred colleges and courses
- Save, review and modify choices (if required)
- Lock your final choices and submit them
- Download and keep a copy of the confirmation page
Key rules and guidelines
- WBJEE and JEE Main 2026 qualifiers will undergo a single online counselling process
- Counselling will be held in three rounds with fresh registration in each round
- Only candidates with a valid WBJEE GMR or JEE (Main) AIR can participate
- Reserved and TFW seats will not be converted to General category seats
