West Bengal Class 12 practical exams from December 5; WBCHSE issues guidelines

NEW DELHI : The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced Class 12 practical exams dates. West Bengal 12th practical exams will be held from December 5, 2022 to December 21, 2022. The board will provide question papers to schools on November 23, 2022.
WBCHSE has asked schools to submit the hard copy of marks of practical exams to concerned regional office between January 2, 2023 and January 10, 2023. “It is to be noted that there is no need to appear at practical examination of a CC/SPL candidates who have passed the examination earlier,” said an official notification from WBCHSE.

The board also issued guidelines for schools to conduct practical exams. According to the guidelines, the schools will have to arrange for practical exams in all subjects including music and physical education at their own school. Only concerned subject teacher will conduct the practical exams and evaluate the answer scripts. If there is no teacher at the school, the subject teacher of nearby school can conduct the exam.
“In this case, the school authority will apply to the regional office along with the NOC of head master of nearby school and consent letter of the subject teacher of nearby school,” the notification added.
Students will have to put their signature on the marksheets without which they will be treated as absent. It is also mandatory to put the signature of the examiner, WBCHSE further said.
