NEW DELHI: West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will issue the WB Madhyamik admit card 2025 for 181 students appearing in Class 10 board exam 2025 starting tomorrow. As per the West Bengal Madhyamik Routine 2025, the Class 10 board exam will be held from February 10 to February 22.
West Bengal Class 10 fresh admit card 2025 will be released today for a total of 181 students. The state board held 136 schools responsible for ‘ordeal’ faced by these students whose details were not sent to WBBSE before the stipulated date.
"It is an onerous process to issue fresh admit cards to so many students at the last moment as the schools failed to act on time. After verifying their request and processing them, finally, we are happy to facilitate the exam of these 181 candidates," WBBSE president Ramanuj Ganguly said, adding all these students will get their admit cards by Sunday.
A total of 9,84,753 students will be appearing for the West Bengal Madhyamik board exam 2025 this year. A significant number of 5,55,950 girls will sit for the exam, “indicating high rate of girl's education in the state”.
The WB Class 10 board exam 2025 will be held in 2,683 centres across the state, the state school board president said. The board has also introduced strict measures to prevent students from using unfair means to clear the exam.
Students will sit for their first languages on February 10. The exams will be conducted from 10.45 am to 2 pm. The WB Madhyamik hall ticket will be distributed through the schools or admit card distribution centres.
