AICTE chairman TG Sitharam at the launch event said, “AICTE offers comprehensive fundamental and advanced training, as well as post-certificate online courses on how to approach yoga as a profession or business venture. We are also trying to bolster the opportunities in the field of Yogaprenuership to make a good career option out of it. Every Soul has the ability to be divine.
“The purpose of life is to govern both internal and external nature in order to reveal this divinity inside. If you do it through work, worship, philosophy, or psychic control, you will be free. We have embraced the broadened definition of yoga based on this, which includes 2 streams: Yoga Jnana and Bhakti. Other than Yoga, AICTE is also offering online courses for Intellectual Property and Fundamentals of Remote Sensing,” he added.
MP Poonia, vice chairman of AICTE addressing the course coordinators appreciated the development of Yoga and other credit courses for SWAYAM and motivated the coordinators to come ahead for development of similar other courses for SWAYAM.
