The UGC has written to all universities and colleges to allow provisional admission to all the eligible students even after September 30 as the final year examinations will happen in universities till end September.
As per the UGC letter, “admissions to the UG and PG programmes for the session 2020-21 may be completed by 31.08.2020. If necessity arises, provisional admissions may also be made and relevant documents of qualifying examination may be accepted up to 30.09.2020”.
It further states that as per the guidelines issued on July 6, the period for conducting the final year, terminal semester examinations has been extended up till the end of September 2020, in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.
