AP EAPCET 2021: No 25% weightage of intermediate marks
The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Higher Education has announced the decision to remove the weightage of 25% intermediate marks in AP EAPCET 2021.

NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Higher Education has decided to remove 25% weightage of intermediate marks in AP EAPCET 2021, according to a News18 report . Now, 100% weightage will be given to the marks secured by candidates in AP EAPCET 2021 in order to prepare the ranking of candidates. Usually, a weightage of 75% marks in AP EAMCET and 25% marks in intermediate is given to rank students.
The decision was taken by the board to provide a fair chance to students as this year the evaluation process of Class 12 is based on a normalization method due to the cancellation of exams.
Candidates should also note that they are required to obtain at least 25% marks in AP EAPCET 2021 in order to qualify for the exam.
The authorities have also released the revised exam dates of AP EAPCET 2021 . As per the new dates AP EAPCET engineering exam 2021 will be held on August 19, 20, 23, 24 and 25. The AP EAPCET 2021 exam dates for agriculture and pharmacy exams are September 3, 6, and 7.
AP EAPCET application form 2021 was available till July 25 without a late fee. However, candidates can still fill the AP EAPCET 2021 application form with different late fees. The application dates with a late fee of Rs 1,000, Rs 5,000, and Rs 10,000 are August 10, 16, and 18 respectively.
This year, the name of the AP EAMCET exam has been changed to Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET).
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada conducts the AP EAPCET exam on behalf of APSCHE for admission into different professional courses offered in university/private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
