Check NowNEW DELHI : The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) has announced the result for Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2024 today, May 30. Candidates who appeared for the examination can download the AP ECET 2024 result through the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

Students can use their login credentials such as registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth to download the AP ECET result 2024.
The AP ECET 2024 exam was conducted on May 8, 2024. The AP ECET exam was held for admission into 2nd year lateral entry into Engineering/ Pharmacy courses from Diploma holders in Engineering and Technology and BSc (Mathematics) degree holders for the academic year 2024-25.
AP ECET Result 2024: Tie- breaking policy
Candidates who qualify for AP ECET will be called for AP ECET 2024 counselling. The AP ECET 2024 merit list features candidates eligible for counseling, determined by their exam scores. If two or more candidates get the same marks, then the following tie-breaking rule will be followed.
- Candidates having higher marks in Mathematics will be given priority and will be placed higher.
- If a tie continues, candidates with higher marks in Physics & Chemistry will be placed higher.
- Again, if a tie still persists, a candidate who is older in age will be given priority.
AP ECET 2024 qualifying marks
Candidates are required to obtain at least 25% of the total marks in four subjects to pass the AP ECET 2024 exam, which is equivalent to scoring 50 marks out of 200 to obtain a rank. However, SC, ST candidates are not subject to any minimum qualifying marks. Candidate allocation will depend on their merit, preferences, and seat availability. Those who pass the exam will be invited for the counseling process.
