Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The Andhra University Visakhapatnam has announced the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP SET) 2024 exam date. According to the official notification, the AP SET 2024 is scheduled to be held on April 28, 2024. The registration window for AP SET 2024 closed on March 25. Candidates belonging to the General category are required to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in both papers to qualify the AP SET 2024 exam.
The AP SET 2024 admit card will be issued on April 19. Once available, candidates will be able to download the AP SET 2024 admit card from the official website at apset.net.in. To download the AP SET admit card 2024, candidates will require their login credentials such as application number and date of birth.
APSET 2024 exam determines the eligibility to apply for the recruitment of assistant professors or lecturers in the colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh.

AP SET 2024 selection process
The AP SET 2024 selection process includes two phases: written examination and document verification. The Written exam comprises two papers-paper 1 and 2. Paper I is mandatory for all applicants, and paper II is focused on the chosen subject. Those who pass the written exam move on to the final stage where they are required to submit original documents for the verification of their eligibility.
APSET 2024 exam pattern
The APSET 2024 paper 1 is for teaching and research aptitude and consists of objective-type or multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 2, on the other hand, consists of 30 subjects from which candidates select 2 subjects while filling out the online application form. The duration of paper 1 is 1 hour and carries 100 marks in total. Whereas, the duration of paper 2 is 2 hours and carries a total of 200 marks. Paper will be held in English and Telugu.
