Arunachal Pradesh Govt to host 3-day Chintan Shivir-cum-Education Conclave 2024 from August 8

The Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, will organise a three-day event themed – “Shikshit Arunachal - Viksit Arunachal.” Starting from August 8 till August 10.
NEW DELHI: The Government of Arunachal Pradesh announced a three-day event, Chintan Shivir-cum-Education Conclave 2024 for educational development in the state. The event will start from August 8 and will continue till August 10. The event is followed by a theme –“Shikshit Arunachal - Viksit Arunachal”, fostering improvement in education.
The attendees of the event will be policymakers, educators, experts, and stakeholders ensuring quality education in the state. The Arunachal Pradesh education minister, Pasang Dorjee Sona, said: “Engaging with all stakeholders is crucial in our mission to enhance the educational landscape of Arunachal Pradesh.”
“By discussing matters that need attention and collaboratively finding solutions, we can ensure that every child receives the quality education they deserve. We invite all stakeholders, educators, and interested parties to join us in this significant event to shape the future of education in Arunachal Pradesh,” the minister said.

The state government will be organising the following events during the three-day long education conclave.

Featuring several panel discussions focusing on the educational status of districts.

Implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Role of stakeholders in providing quality education.

Discussion about Mission NIPUN Bharat, PM SHRI Schools, and innovative digital initiatives will be highlighted.
The programme will also see participation of district commissioners (DCs), district education officers (DDSEs), principals of higher secondary schools, headmasters, PhD scholars, state-level functionaries, professors, and representatives from NGOs.
The event will include meaningful discussions, sharing of experiences, and developing strategies to address the educational needs of the state.
