The board has requested the schools to prepare the Assam HS pre-final exam time table, subject-wise question paper, and supply blank answer-scripts. The respective schools will have to issue admit cards, evaluate answer scripts and declare the results. The Assam Class 12 per-final marksheet will also be issued by the respective schools.
“It will be mandatory on the part of the examination conducting institutions to keep the subject-wise marks obtained by the students under their safe custody, so that the council can collect the same as and when required,” the AHSEC said.
The question papers should be set up by the teachers concerned as per the Class 12 syllabus. The council also notified the marks break-up. The subject having practical test will have 70: 30 weightage - 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical. It can also be 30:70, 60:40, and 50:50 weightage as per syllabi. Subjects having no practical will carry 100 marks.
Further, the council informed that the subjects including accountancy, business studies, economics, finance, political science, sociology, Swadesh Adhyayan, will have 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment or project works.
The Assam HS practical exams will be conducted by the internal examiners and supporting staffs. The council asked the schools to preserve the answer-scripts for future reference.
