Dr B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi starts UG admissions for 2026-27 through CUET UG scores, expands academic offerings with new UG and PG programmes
Dr B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) will begin the undergraduate admission process for the 2026-27 academic session from today, July 2, with the university expanding its academic portfolio by introducing several new undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Established by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), AUD is a social sciences and humanities-focused university offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. This year, the university will offer admissions to 23 undergraduate programmes across disciplines with a total intake of 1,194 seats.
Admissions to the undergraduate courses will be conducted on the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 scores for both three-year and four-year degree programmes under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Students who appeared for CUET (UG) 2026 are eligible to apply for admission to the university's undergraduate programmes.

AUD Admission 2026: Registration date
Candidates have been asked to register on the university's CUET (UG) 2026 admission portal and carefully review the programme-wise eligibility criteria, admission guidelines, reservation policy, fee structure and important dates before submitting their applications.
The university has advised applicants to complete the registration process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. It has also urged candidates to regularly visit the official website for the latest admission-related announcements and updates throughout the admission process.
AUD Admission 2026: New courses
The 2026-27 admission cycle will coincide with a significant expansion of the university's academic offerings. AUD is introducing at least five new programmes, along with one-year postgraduate programmes in seven disciplines under the Post Graduate Curriculum Framework (PGCF), officials said to PTI.

Among the new postgraduate offerings are MA in Creative Writing and MA in Performing Arts (Theatre Arts).
Museology, AI-focused mathematics
At the undergraduate level, the university is launching a BA in Museology, Culture and Heritage Management, which officials described as one of the first university-level programmes of its kind in India. The new offerings also include a BA in Visual Arts.
The university is also introducing a BSc in Mathematics, restructured from the existing BA (Honours) Mathematics programme. According to university officials, the revised curriculum will include a minor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
