BHU forms committee for UG, PG, PhD admissions 2024

BHU Admissions 2024: The Central Admission Committee will prepare admission bulletins for UG, PG, PhD entrance test along with help desks.
NEW DELHI : Banaras Hindu University has formed a Central Admission Committee to ensure a smooth and hassle free admission process for the academic session 2024-25. The committee will be chaired by professor Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Mahila Mahavidyalaya.
The task of the admissions committee is to develop and improve the admission procedure and system at BHU as well as its efficient implementation. The central committee will work towards transparent, error free, and timely conducted admissions.
The CAC has been authorized to prepare the admission bulletins of the BHU for undergraduate, postgraduate, research entrance test, as well as special courses of study. It will also prepare information dissemination tools like help videos or help desks for effective outreach of the university admission system and procedures to students and others. It will publish the prospectus, application forms, and advertisements concerning BHU admissions 2024.

Professor Rakesh Pandey, department of psychology; professor G P Singh, department of statistics; professor Rajesh Kumar, department of chemistry; Rajnish Kumar Singh, faculty of law; Sabina Bano, Mahila Mahavidyalaya; Chinmoy Roy, faculty of commerce; Anil Kumar Maurya, faculty of law; Sarvesh Pandey, Mahila Mahavidyalaya; Saswati Roy, deputy registrar, Controller of Examination, are the members of the committee. Prashant, assistant registrar (academic), has been named the member secretary.
Besides, three members of the CAC have been given the responsibility of exclusively looking after the BHU PhD admissions process, apart from the UG, PG admissions. These members are professor Pandey, professor Singh, and Rajnish Kumar Singh.
