BHU urges teachers to use Moodle for teaching online

NEW DELHI: To facilitate the online teaching-learning process, Banaras Hindu University has come up with a portal to be used on online learning platform Moodle, the university announced on Friday.
Moodle will enable the teaching and student community of the university to holding classes, share content and also in handle online examinations.
The Learning Management System (LMS) will help the teachers of the university to create their own private websites filled with courses that extend learning, anytime, anywhere. As per the BHU, “It provides educators and learners with a single robust, secure and system to create personalized learning environments and supports both blended learning as well as 100 per cent online courses.”
It provides with a number of features ranging from course homepage, content sharing, discussion rooms to online examination. BHU has urged teachers to use the platform for teaching-learning activities.
