Bihar Board Class 10 maths exam cancelled due to paper leak; Re-exam on March 24

NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has cancelled the Bihar Board Matric Class 10 mathematics exam 2022 after alleged paper leak reports. Re-exam for BSEB Class 10 maths paper will be held on March 24, 2022.

The Bihar Board has decided that all the students who appeared for the BSEB Class 10 maths exam on February 17 in 25 centres will have to re-appear for the exam. The Bihar Board matric re-exam for maths will be held on March 24 from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, as per reports.
BSEB Class 10 board exams 2022 began on February 17 with maths exam. Just before the commencement of the exam, Bihar Class 10 mathematics question paper was allegedly being circulated on social media. However, the board did not confirm if it was the original Class 10 maths question paper.
A day after the exam, 100 students were expelled for using malpractices in BSEB Class 10 exam 2022, as per reports. Of the 100 students who were expelled, 28 students were from Saran and 15 from Vaishali. Whereas, 20 students were expelled for giving exams on the basis of the wrong identity.
The BSEB Class 12th exam result 2022 was declared yesterday, March 16 on BSEB official website, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, within 19 days after starting the evaluation process. The Bihar Board 10th result 2022 date was expected to be announced by the board soon at biharboardonline.com. However, now it is expected to be out after the Class 10 maths re-exam.

This year, a total of 16,48,894 students will be appearing for the BSEB matric exam 2022. To ensure the conduct of fair examinations, all centres will be equipped with CCTV cameras. A videographer will be assigned to each of the 500 examinees.
