Bihar Board Class 10 scrutiny application starts tomorrow; BSEB issues guidelines

: Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has announced that it will start the application process for scrutiny of Bihar Board Class 10 results 2024 from tomorrow. Students who are not satisfied with their BSEB Matric results 2024 and those who wish to apply for recounting will have to submit the scrutiny application form through the official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com
The Bihar Board declared the BSEB Class 10th board exam results for 16,64,252 students. This year, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 82.91%, the performance of students increased by 1.83 percentage points compared to last year.
Students will be allowed to submit requests for scrutiny from April 3 to 9 by paying a fee of Rs 120 per subject. Scrutiny of the answer book will be based on the following factors.
Correction will be made if the marks of the pages inside the answer book are not marked on the cover page. If there is any error in the total of marks given. If the question and answer of any question or its section is unevaluated, then the score will be improved by evaluating it. Marks may increase, decrease or remain the same as a result of scrutiny.
Those students who have been declared failed in a maximum of two subjects will have to appear in the Bihar Board 10th compartmental exam along with applying for scrutiny.
In case students who have failed get their marks increased as a result of scrutiny, they will be declared pass. However, it will be considered as a valid matric results and not compartment results, the board clarified.
