Download NowNEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued exam guidelines for the intermediate annual board examination 2024. The Class 12 Bihar board exams will be conducted from February 1 to February 12 in two shifts. The board exam will be conducted for three hours from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in shift one and from 2 pm to 5 pm in shift two.

The Bihar board Class 12 exam will be conducted in 1,523 examination centres across the state. According to the Bihar school examination committee, 6,26,431 girls and 6,77,921 boys will appear in the Bihar board exams 2024.

Candidates should enter the exam hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Candidates who come late will not be allowed to appear in the examination for that shift.

Due to Section 144 being in effect up to 200 meters from the examination centers, there will be restrictions on these examination centres. Except for students, no unauthorised persons will be allowed into the building.

All candidates will be searched at two levels. First checking will take place by the magistrate and police force stationed at the center. At the second level, the invigilator will conduct a frisking in the examination hall before declaring that he has searched all 25 candidates and discovered no cheat sheets or electronic gadgets with them.

Invigilators and other personnel in the examination hall will not take any other documents and mobile phones to the examination center except those related to the examination work. Also, bluetooth, pager, smartwatch, magnetic watch and electronic watch are not to be used by any invigilator or other personnel including the candidates.

If in any case the candidate's admit card is lost or has been left at home, then provisional permission will be given to appear in the examination by identifying him/her from the scanned photograph in the attendance sheet.

50% of questions in each subject will be objective, in which students will be given 100% additional questions as an option.

Candidates will be given 15 minutes extra time in the examination hall to collect question papers and read and understand the answer sheet.

Based on the request of the disabled candidates who are unable to write on their own, a dictation writer can be provided. Disabled candidates should also bring their dictaphone. Such candidates will also be given 20 minutes extra in the time allotted for the examination.
