NE W DELHI: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Bihar has extended the registration deadline for state National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2025 exam till December 7. Interested students can register for the Bihar NMMS 2025 through the official website at scert.bihar.gov.in.

Earlier, the Bihar NMMS 2024 application deadline was December 1. Students are required to enter their educational and personal details to register for Bihar NMMS 2025 examination.
As per the schedule, the Bihar NMMS 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on January 19, 2025. The scholarship aims to inspire students from economically weaker sections to continue their studies and minimise the dropout percentage.
Bihar NMMSS exam pattern
The Bihar NMMSS exam will have two parts: part 1 (Mental Ability Test) and part 2 (Scholastic Ability Test). Students can check the Bihar NMMS 2025 exam pattern in the table given below-

Bihar NMMS 2025 eligibility criteria
- Students must be enrolled in Class 8th during the academic year 2024-2025.
- Students must have achieved a minimum of 55% or equivalent grade in their Class VII exams. SC/ST students are eligible with a score of 50%.
- The combined annual income of both parents should not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh.
- Students in NVS, KVS, Sainik schools, and private schools cannot apply for this NMMS scholarship.
