The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the online application process date for appointment to the posts of school teachers under advertisement no. 14/2026, fourth phase school teacher recruitment examination (TRE-4.0).
As per the notice, “the application process for appointment to the posts of school teachers is likely to start from 21.09.2026.” Applicants can submit the form on the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
The Bihar TRE-4.0 recruitment 2026 will cover 32,388 teaching vacancies across various school levels. The posts include positions for primary, middle school, secondary and higher secondary teachers. The selection process includes, written examination & document verification.

To submit the application form for the BPSC Bihar TRE-4 Recruitment 2026 , follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bihar.gov.in
- Open the online application section, finish the registration/OTR (if required)
- Select BPSC TRE-4.0 recruitment 2026 and enter the details such as personal and educational information
- Select the appropriate teaching level & subject, upload the documents and make the payment
- Review all information carefully and then submit
- Download the confirmation page & payment receipt and take a printout for further reference
The application fees for all categories is Rs 100, which can be paid in online mode.

The education qualification for Bihar TRE-4 recruitment 2026 will vary depending on the teaching level and subject chosen by the applicant. In general, aspirants may require 10+2 or intermediate, graduation or post graduation, along with relevant teacher-training qualifications such as D.El.Ed., B.Ed. or B.El.Ed. Candidates may also need CTET, BTET or STET qualification wherever prescribed. For secondary and higher secondary posts, a relevant subject qualification will be required.

The age limit for BPSC Bihar TRE-4 recruitment 2026 is 18 to 37 years for primary and middle school teachers, while aspirants applying for other teaching posts should be between 21 and 37 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the prescribed rules. The crucial date for calculating the applicant's age is January 1, 2026.
