BR Ambedkar Bihar University will participate in NIRF rankings 2025

BR Ambedkar Bihar University: The registration process to be part of the NIRF involves the submission of comprehensive data on various aspects of the university.
NEW DELHI: BR Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur has started participating in the National Institutional Ranking Framework's (NIRF) ranking of institutions from 2025. This is the debut entry of the university in the NIRF ranking registrations, as per the official statement by the university.
The registration for the NIRF rankings 2025 was jointly submitted by Dinesh Chandra Rai, vice chancellor and Suresh Sharma, former Bihar Urban Development Minister through the NIRF official portal.
Expressing his excitement on the achievement, vice chancellor Rai, said: “This registration in NIRF is a significant step forward for BRA Bihar University. It reflects our dedication to providing high-quality education and our commitment to continuous improvement.”
“This achievement opens new doors for BRA Bihar University. It will not only enhance our national reputation but also increase our opportunities to secure grants and other forms of academic support from various funding agencies, including the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of India. This will empower us to further strengthen our academic programs, improve our infrastructure, and provide an even better learning experience for our students,” Rai added.

NIRF rankings 2025
The registration process involved the submission of comprehensive data on various aspects of the institution, including student enrollment, research output, faculty qualifications, infrastructure, and placement records.
Rai added by saying that the achievement is a result of the hard work and dedication of the entire university community, including the faculty, staff, and students. “It reflects the university's commitment to academic excellence and its continuous efforts to improve the quality of education it provides,” he concluded.
BS Rai, proctor professor; Kalyan Kumar Jha, IQAC director; Rajiv Kumar, college inspector (arts/commerce); Jitesh Pati Tripathi, NIRF coordinator, including other faculty members were part of the event that celebrated the milestone achievement.
