BSEB Bihar Board Class 11 admissions 2024-25 to commence soon; 9,907 schools to offer seats
Students can check the subject-specific and stream-specific seat quotas across various schools through the official website, ofssbihar.in.

NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board has unveiled the stream-wise seat allocation for class 11 admissions. Students can check the information on subject-specific and stream-specific seat quotas across government, non-government higher secondary schools, and inter colleges in Bihar on the board's official website, ofssbihar.in. As per the Bihar Board's announcement, a total of 9,907 schools will offer class 11 admissions.
With over 17 lakh seats available for class 11 enrollment in Bihar, the Arts stream has the most number of seats. This marks a significant decrease of more than six lakh seats compared to the previous year. During the admission registration process, candidates have the option to select a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 schools.
Over 16 lakh appeared in BSEB 10th exams 2024
More than 16 lakh students participated in the BSEB class 10th board examinations. The BSEB class 10th results were unveiled on March 31, 2024, during a press conference held at 1:30 pm. The overall pass rate for the BSEB 10th result 2024 reached 82.91%.
The Bihar Board class 12th examinations concluded on February 12, 2024. The BSEB class 12th results were declared on March 23, 2024, by Anand Kishore, the chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board, during a press conference at 1:30 pm.
This year, approximately 13 lakh students participated in the 12th board examinations, with the overall pass percentage for Bihar Board class 12th exams recorded at 87.21%.
Meanwhile, the Bihar Board has opted to discontinue Intermediate studies across all degree colleges for the academic session 2024-25. Consequently, the names of these colleges have been omitted from the latest list. This directive will come into effect starting April 1, 2024.
