CA Inter, Final results 2024 likely on July 11; students concerned over delay

NEW DELHI : The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) is expected to declare CA Inter, Final results 2024 on July 11, CA Rajesh Sharma said on social media. The institute is yet to announce the CA Inter result May 2024 release date as well as CA Final result May 2024 expected date. CA result May 2024 will be declared for intermediate and final exams on the official website, icai.org.

“Beloved CA Students, Results of ICAI Intermediate and Final Examination will probably be declared on 11th July, 2024. My best wishes to all the students who had appeared for these Exams,” the accountant said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Earlier, a central council member (CCM) Dhiraj Khandelwal said that CA Inter result May 2024 and CA Final result May 2024 can be expected between July 5 and 10. The member asked to wait for the official ICAI notification.

Reacting to the CA result date , aspirants called out ICAI for a delay in results and expressed anxiety and disappointment. Some students asked the council members to stop sharing updates on social media if they’re not sure about it.

An X user said in a post, “I request all CCMs who tweet about result dates (especially when everyone is giving different dates). Please stop this once for all. At the end, it's always about "wait for the official notification." Then why can't you guys wait for it too.”

Another user posted, “Except ICAI almost all CCM Members have announced the result date. Why are members revealing all secretive information from the meetings?”

“CA Inter and Final Results May 24 to be declared on 32nd July. Don't believe in any rumours,” an aspirant wrote jokingly.

Concerned over delay in results, another aspirant said, “No one is noticing the trauma through which we CA students are going through. As NEET aspirants are large in number they get attention but we as a CA students often get ignored.”

A student pointed out that the number of papers has been reduced, 30% is now MCQ in all papers and there will be less manual checking. The exams are being conducted thrice a year for intermediate, requiring timely results, he added. “ICAI never misses out on disappointing CA students. They can not postpone exams (genuine demand). But nobody can question delayed results,” he remarked.
