CAPSI to launch BBA in security management with Noida International University

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 17: With the aim of building and developing a better and professional environment in the Private Security Industry (PSI) of India, Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) announced BBA in Security Management during the Security Skills and Leadership Summit-2018.
Presently, the graduation course is being offered in Noida International University (Noida). Irrespective of the subjects in senior secondary school, the course is open for students of all streams from across the nation.
With world-class faculty and mentors along with scholarship opportunities, this uniquely designed full-time graduate programme is aimed to introduce the young talent with advanced knowledge and skills in the security spectrum. On the completion of this degree programme, successful candidates will have enormous job opportunities in the sector that employs more than 8 million skilled and semi-skilled professionals. Arrangements are also being made to finance the education of bright students with special scholarships from SSSDC and Noida International University. For further support, nationalized banks are being approached to provide soft loans which are payable in 20 years.
While sharing his views about the degree programme, KunwarVikram Singh, Chairman of CAPSI says,“The onset of technology & digital boom might have benefitted the nation in numerous ways, but it also increases the security risks. And, to ensure that the country’s guardsmen and security personnel are skilled enough to tackle the contemporary issues, we need to aptly organize PSI and provide it with educated, trained, and smart personnel. Through BBA in Security Management, we are aiming to achieve the holistic growth of Indian PSI.”
Dr. Vikram Singh, Pro Chancellor, Noida International University said, “we have customized a management program for security professionals in AI, IOT and many technical courses to make them world class. It is a 3 year degree course with 6 semesters.”
