Use NowNEW DELHI: CAT registration process 2022 is underway, wherein candidates can fill the application form at the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in. IIM Bangalore is the CAT conducting body this year and the deadline to fill CAT registration form 2022 is September 14. Applicants willing to appear in this management entrance test are required to pay Rs 2,300 (CAT exam fee for general candidates) and Rs 1,150 for reserved category candidates.

Common Admission Test or CAT 2022 will be conducted on November 27 as a computer-based test. CAT entrance exam 2022 will be held in 150 cities across the country, in three slots of two hours each - slot 1 from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm, slot 2- 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and slot 3 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. As per the CAT 2022 test pattern, the exam will have three sections namely, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude.

The detailed CAT eligibility is:

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum 50 percent aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45 percent aggregate for SC, ST and PWD/DA category) from a recognised university to apply for the CAT exam 2022.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification or awaiting the result are also eligible to apply for CAT 2022 exam.

Candidates with a professional degree such as CA/CS/ICWA/FCAI, with the required percentage, can also fill CAT 2022 application form.

There is no age limit in order to apply for the CAT exam.

Steps to apply for CAT 2022
Step 1: Visit the official website iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on, “New Candidate Registration.”
Step 3: Enter the registration credentials.
Step 4: Once registered, log in again using the system-generated ID and password.
Step 5: Fill up the CAT application form 2022
Step 6: Upload the required documents
Step 7: Pay the CAT application fee.
Step 8: Download the CAT application form.
Step 9: Take a printout of the submitted CAT 2022 form for future reference.
