Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has concluded all slots of the Common Admission Test (CAT) today, November 28. CAT exam 2021 was conducted in a computer-based mode in three shifts. Authorities conducted CAT slot 1 between 08:30 to 10:30 am, CAT slot 2 between 12:30 to 02:30 pm, and CAT slot 3 between 04:30 to 06:30 pm. CAT consisted of three sections, Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR).

The total number of questions in the CAT 2021 exam was less in comparison to the usual previous year trends. CAT marking scheme remained the same. Each correct attempt has three marks and each wrong attempt gets a negative marking of one mark. All slots were of 66 total marks each and were moderately difficult. What’s after CAT 2021?
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will release the official CAT answer key for all slots on the official IIM CAT website, iimcat.ac.in tentatively in the second week of December 2021. Candidates will be able to download the preliminary answer key by using valid CAT login credentials. The CAT 2021 official answer key will be released in the form of a pdf file.
After the release of the provisional answer key of the CAT 2021 exam, students will be able to raise objections against the answers specified in the answer key within a certain time period. To raise an objection or challenge, candidates will have to note the incorrect question ID and answer along with the correct answer and they will have to pay a requisite fee for each question.
