NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow released the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 application form on, August 2 at iimcat.ac.in. As per the CAT notification , the registration can be done by September 13. While applying for the CAT exam 2023, applicants can make silly mistakes that may lead to rejection of the CAT form.

Candidates are advised to read the points mentioned below carefully to avoid mistakes while filling out CAT application form 2023.
1. Verified credentials
Entering the wrong credentials will lead to the cancellation of the CAT 2023 exam forms. All the information entered in the CAT application form is verified by the concerned authorities. So, entering the wrong information will directly reject the form. Hence, candidates are advised to fill out the IIM CAT 2023 registration form carefully.
2. Avoid documents mismatch
Many aspirants face difficulty due to a name change or parent's name change in their Aadhaar card or any other document while registering. This can be a bottleneck during the CAT registration process. In that case, candidates should make the necessary corrections in their documents in advance.
As with an Aadhaar card, a candidate has to apply for rectification at the nearest Aadhaar Card Enrollment Centre. He/she has to fill in the 14-digit Aadhaar number printed on the slip provided after submitting the request.

3. Scanned copy
Scanned images must be in a specific format. They should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format. The dimension of the photograph should be 30mm X 45mm. The signature should be done on plain white paper and dimensions 80mm X 35mm. The size must not be more than 80 KB and less than 150 px/inch in resolution.
If the candidate fulfills all the instructions related to uploading the scanned images, his/her CAT 2023 application form will never be rejected.
4. CAT eligibility
In order to avoid rejection of the CAT application form, students should maintain standard eligibility for the CAT entrance exam i.e. Bachelor's degree with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks (45 percent marks for SC/ ST category).
5. Selection of CAT test centre
It is common for candidates to make mistakes while choosing the preferred centres for the CAT entrance exam. Because if you choose the wrong centre which is too far away from home, it can cause many disturbances on the CAT exam day. Hence, candidates are advised to choose their preferred centres carefully.
