The CBSE has decided to reopen the portal and has asked schools to accordingly moderate the mark awarded by July 17, 2021, the report added. The tabulation process had ended on June 30, 2021. With the new development, the CBSE 10th result 2021 is likely to be delayed by a few days. The expected date for the announcement of the Class 10 result is July 20, 2021 , however, the results might be postponed because of the circular issued to schools by CBSE. The board has not commented on any change over the CBSE Class 10 result 2021 date.
This year, the CBSE board exams could not be held due to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country. On April 14, 2021, the board cancelled the CBSE 10th board exam 2021. On June 1, 2021, in a high-level meeting with PM Narendra Modi , CBSE also called off the CBSE 12th board exam 2021.
The board decided that CBSE Class 10 students will be evaluated on the marks scored in different tests/exams conducted by the school in the course of the year. Class 12 students will be evaluated based on 30% marks of the best three subjects of Class 10, 30% marks of Class 11, and 40% marks of unit test, mid-term or pre-board exams of Class 12.
