NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has shared the performance of the CBSE Class 10 term 1 examination with schools. But the performance of individual students cannot be accessed as CBSE has informed the schools only on the theory performance of their Class 10 students in a collective manner.

“Only theory performance is communicated to the students. The information about practical/project/internal assessment is already with the schools,” said a statement from CBSE.

According to the statement, the information that the board shared is based on the performance of the students uploaded by the schools. CBSE has also communicated the performance of students based on scanning of OMR sheets in the case of those subjects which was not assessed by the schools.
The board has not shared details on the performance of those students who have not attended the exams due to reasons such as Covid or national or international sports or olympiad, etc. According to the board, the performance of such students will be assessed based on their performance in the CBSE term 2 Class 10 exam.

CBSE is not issuing any mark sheet cum passing certificate just after the CBSE term 1 result Class 10. According to the board, only one mark sheet cum passing certificate will be issued after the CBSE term 2 Class 10 exam. This mark sheet will contain both marks of term-1 and term-2.
