The difficulty level of the CBSE Class 12 Computer Science paper 2025 was 'moderate' but 'challenging' as compared to the last three years. As per feedback from subject experts, 40% of students would rate the CBSE Class 12 computer science paper 'easy'.

The CBSE Class 12 computer science exam 2025 was held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. As per student's, questions in the CBSE Class computer science paper 2025 were asked within the prescribed syllabus. The CBSE Class 12 computer science paper 2025 carried 70 marks.

Overall, the CBSE Class 12 computer science exam 2025 was of moderate difficulty, with about 40% of students rating it easy, 35% considering it moderate, and 25% finding it difficult as per Chawla.
According to Deepa Sharma, HOD at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, CBSE Class 12 computer science exam 2025 followed the CBSE blueprint and maintained a 'moderate' difficulty level.
'Paper well balanced'
According to Shrama, the expected average score is around 85%, and overall it was a well-balanced paper.
As per Sharma, assertion-reasoning and case study-based questions were aligned with the CBSE sample paper. The CBSE Class 12 computer science exam 2025 assessed different learning domains, including knowledge, comprehension, and application, with a few questions requiring higher-order thinking skills.
Student's reaction
Unnati Sighal, a Class 12 student from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, found the CBSE Class 12 computer science exam 'easy'. As per Sighal questions were similar to CBSE sample paper and previous year papers.
'No tricky questions'
As per student's feedback, there were no unexpected or tricky questions. The programming section in CBSE Class 12 CS paper 2025 was manageable, as it did not include lengthy menu-driven programs, as per Sighal. The CBSE Class 12 computer science exam 2025 could be completed within two hours, leaving time for revision.

The CBSE Class12 board exams 2025 are being held in 7,842 centres. A total of 17,88,165 students were supposed to appear for CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025. The CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025 are ending on April 4.
