NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is launching a psychological counselling programme from tomorrow, January 1. This initiative of CBSE aims to equip students and parents with tools and techniques to navigate exam stress effectively. The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams start on January 1 and 15 February.

This psychological counselling program continues in two phases, first before the examination and second after the result, to keep the students of Class 10 and 12 of CBSE-affiliated schools stress-free during the examinations.

CBSE has been conducting this programme since 1998 and this will be its 26th year conducting this psychological counselling program. The Board has actively engaged with students through the use of youtube, facebook, and instagram in addition to sharing other important information on social media over the years.

“Audio-visual content on youth experiences, aggression, depression, internet addiction disorder, examination stress, multimedia content on various topics such as specific learning disabilities, substance use disorders and life skills to deal with them can also be viewed and listened to.” said CBSE in a statement.
